Melissa Tillman the Licensee and Director has been employed in the Real Estate Industry for over 10 years. Starting as a Receptionist in a small boutique agency gave her the love for the industry and a sound knowledge in all aspects of Real Estate from sales administration, sales, property management, and trust accounting. Melissa chose property management as her career choice and has worked in Perth and the South West managing properties ranging from luxury apartments, residential homes, heritage listed houses and rural properties.
 
Deciding in 2020 that the time was now, Melissa decided she wanted to be her own boss, run a property management business the way she wanted it to be run and genuinely care for each individual owner, property and tenant with the highest quality service.
 
Melissa along with her husband has owned rental properties and currently runs a beef cattle farm in the beautiful Donnybrook region.

Beginning her real estate career as a Receptionist in a busy Pilbara agency some 10 years ago, Jesse has since worked in Sales Administration, Property Sales, Property Management and Trust Accounting, but her true passion lies in Commercial Property Management. Methodical and thorough, Jesse enjoys the finer complexities of Commercial Property Management and the constantly evolving challenges it brings.
 
Along with her husband, Jesse has owned several investment properties, renovated homes and built multiple times, her current home even being nominated for the 2019 Master Builder Awards.
 
Relocating several times due to her husband’s job with WA Police, Jesse and her family have now settled in for the long haul in beautiful Donnybrook, building the ‘forever’ home and immersing themselves in the local community. She is an active member of the Donnybrook District High Schools P&C committee and sits on the School Board as a Parent Representative.
 
Believing that good old fashioned quality customer service should be the cornerstone of any successful business, Jesse offers a tailored property management solution to all her clients with the goal of achieving the best possible returns on their investment.

We use reiwa.com, domain.com.au, commercialrealestate.com.au, and our social media platforms to advertise our listings to a wide audience of potential tenants.

We advertise the property on the most reputable websites and take all enquiries seriously, we conduct home opens and private viewings by appointment, plus having a list of quality tenants on standby just waiting for the perfect place to call home. We complete national tenancy database checks (which is a complimentary service to all our clients), thorough background checks which includes employment, tenancy history, and personal references. Once we have completed our checks, the application is presented to you, the owner, for the final decision.

Under the Residential Tenancies Act 1978 any landlord or Real Estate Agent is only permitted to complete four (4) inspections per year. We complete the first inspection within the first six weeks and then every three months thereafter.

We are licenced real estate agents, so when you find that perfect property, we can act as a buyers’ agent on your behalf and assist you to get the best price possible. All that’s left to do then is place fantastic tenants!


South West Property Management are your end-to-end property investment partners. 

Currently our sole focus is on providing exceptional property management, however we can absolutely give recommendations for Sales Agents to partner with to sell your investment if or when the time comes.

Our inspections will give you a detailed report of how the tenant is maintaining the property, what maintenance is required and how you can improve your property for a better return.

If it is found that your property has been damaged by the tenant, your property manager will determine whether the damage comes under fair wear and tear, accidental damage or malicious damage.

Any damages to the property are required to be reported to the property manager as soon as practical. Regular routine inspections of the property help prevent excessive or malicious damage occurring.
 
The property manager will seek to ensure the damages are rectified by the tenant either during the tenancy or during the vacate process.

The Residential Tenancies Act 1978 allows you to breach the tenant for such offences. We will consult with you to advise of any such breach, advise of your rights and follow your instructions on how to proceed. Generally, a breach gives the tenant 14 days to rectify the situation, and then if not rectified, 7 days to vacate thereafter.
